Patience 忍 the Namelessness 無名之道

Sometimes you contemplate
Sometimes you make conclusions
People who have no patients are tend to conclude things too quickly
Even if things are grey, they tend to decide forcefully whether things are black or white

Now Chinese have a saying 忍一時風平浪靜 退一步海闊天空
Patience 忍 is not a retreat nor an advance
Patience 忍is a must to clarify the mind

Too often we think in terms of 3 dimensions
Patience 忍 is using the 4th dimension (time).
Patience 忍 is as subtle as water
Patience 忍 creates the enemy out of your friends
Patience 忍 creates friends out of your enemy
Patience 忍 creates safety out of your danger
Patience 忍 is needed to see the colors
Patience 忍 is needed to clarify the will
Advancement, conclusions and decisions is nothing special
It is like going down the path
Patience, retreat and namelessness is more difficult and superior
It is like climbing a mountain
The path of namelessness 無名之道
非淡泊無以明志 (without simplicity there is no clarification)

A touched & angry moment

A Chinese saying goes: "You can only know the pain of the needle if it touches the flesh"
Too often a wise man told me that "enemy forever" does not exist, nor a "forever friends".
Knowledge is like a cloud that passes by.
Within moments it is gone.

But when, in your perception, the enemy becomes a close friends.
You become very touched.
He or she is able to understand the matters and can share some thoughts.

But when, in your perception, the friend becomes a traitor and becomes your enemy.
You become very angered.
He or she uses all the shared and trusted matters against you.

I am disappointed and enlightened at the same time.
I kept a trusted too close.
I kept a stranger too far.

Now nothing is 100%, the reality clashes against my innerself.
I am touched and angry at the same time..
Like a needle penetrating through my flesh..
A pain, a situation in live, that I can't share it with someone..
For you it is a cloudy needle, for me it is a bloody needle..

Identity

Do you believe the universe will stabilize itself.
Or do you believe you have to stabilize the universe.

It is an influential question effecting the own stability and also others.
A person who thinks the universe will not balance itself, while equality and unbalanced situation appears. Then actions follows which eventually leads to suffer.

The perception that the universe will stabilize and harmonize itself is maybe a more peaceful. The effect will be independent whether this perceptive is true or false.

The thought that "you" as an identity have to stabilize and lead to justice. That some are the "chosen one" to take action in the name of Heaven is dangerous. Because regret will follow if the "universe" works the other way around".
As the I Ching says: 1/6 chance when taking action, it is auspicious. Against 5/6 misfortune.

心道 - The Mystery of the Heart

All matters, animals; people and situations has its Heart
It is the root of the manifestations for the eye.
Although not visible; its crucial.

To move a stone is called power;
To move the Heart of a stone is called true strength.

Look at the great Mountains;
Listen to it's heart carefully.
Can you move the Mountains Heart ?
I am not talking about the physical rocks and stones, cliffs and heights of the Mountain.
But the Heart which has manifested this Mountain.
To change the situation, one should talk to the Heart of the situation.

The Hearts responds directly with the receptive Deep Valley 深榖.
While the physical corresponds with the Great Mountain 太山.

Overly physical and powerful in time leads to nightfall.
While Emptying and responding to the Heart 虛其心 leads to great flights. Watch it's receptiveness.
Can you see the characteristics of Creativeness 乾;
Can you see the characteristics of Receptiveness 坤.
It's mysterious..
There are not many people that can see through my metaphors.

The Great Bird

A small bird do not know his abilities and potential to fly.
A teenager dreams a lot, forcing his self to make decisions.
Forcing himself to love and thinks that it is only a business between two people.
But a grown bird is able to relate those perceptions.
The great bird possess the ability to fly high and to sink low.
While a small bird thinks he must, the great bird can advance and release freely.

How sad that the great bird with all his potential and ability to "destruct and create" can not use his powers. If love is the foundation and matters of two birds, the stakes are low.
But the great bird realize that "love" is the relation and foundation of a whole community.
But when community is at harmony, the stakes are high.
How sad this great bird cannot act in accordance to his desires.
How great was the time when the bird was still young and dangerous, wild and free.

Sometimes it is a gift to be blind, deaf and unknown.
Flights are not that fierce anymore.
The great bird foresees the danger and safe grounds.
His action are smooth and wise.
Acts without acting. Speaks without speaking.
And wins without fighting.
No fierce drums and mountains and seas to cross.
No tigers to be fought.
All within the realms of the great birds sight.
How wise...
How sad...

水能载舟亦能覆舟 - The Danger

In the begin there was balance... Like the picture below (the "before existence balance" 8 Gua).
The great Tai Chi 太極 in the state of balance. Watch the Heaven Trigram 卦 (Yang) energy is at the top, and the Earth Trigram 卦 (Yin) energy is at the bottom.

But then, the state of balance has been interrupted causing imbalance.
Maybe this could be caused by the existence of myself or perhaps other energies caused this imbalanced dark energy.
The question lies unanswered. Somewhere there is a concealed action, and the visible reaction is very confronting.
Let me describe you the characterics of the "reaction, the dark interupting energy"

Do you know a person who is not direct reachable...
A person who is sometimes the enemy..
Sometimes a friend.
Seductive

Sometimes it is difficult to distinguish Good and Evil...
Difficult whether Empty of Full..
Sweet or Bitter.
Dangerous or SafeThe ancient Chinese sees the 坎卦 which is nature's phenomenon 水 Water of the I Ching (The Book of Change) as "Danger, rapid rivers".
The 坎卦Force means originally: pit, hole /snare, trap /crisis, darknessReferring to people, it signifies the image of being full of anxiety, of sickness of heart, of pain in the ears.
As in the above Trigram 坎卦 can be seen, the middle "Yang" (unbroken line) above and under it is surrounded by "Yin" (broken lines).
Ancient Chinese conclude that difficulty lies ahead, and when retreating there is danger. (進退兩難 Chun Dhuy Leung Laan)
Also water is able to carry a ship, but also to sink a ship: 水能载舟亦能覆舟.
Thus we should carefully be taken care of the element "water".
It may not be taken lightly, trust the world but distrust the evil inside the people.
To protect ourselves from others must not, not exist, and we must not harm people.
If someone is trying to reestablish the balance, by acting in name of Heaven, it is within the realms of the Tai Chi 太極.
This person is weaken himself by acting "for" the Tai Chi 太極.
As a result the great Tai Chi 太極 will not balance the target, but instead is confronting you.
By acting in the name of Heaven, thy must rely on your own strength.
By restrain oneself and let the Tai Chi react, thy will be protected by the 8 rays of energies.
The solution of the 坎 force lies in the 謙卦.
One must concealing the Mountain within the Earth.
One must crouch like the Tiger and be as hidden as the Dragons 臥虎藏龍 , here lies the strength.
This can only be executed when the innerself is in harmony. Otherwise one is not able to breath normally in times of chaos.
First one should harmonizes its anger and impatience..
Next the Tai Chi 太極 will "revenge", controlling and balance the danger of "Water" with an enormous confronting power.
Lightning will strike, great Fires will dry the dangerous waters.
At last, when the Tai Chi 太極 has weaken the danger and darkness of the 坎卦 force, it will be the moment to release the potential...
Hence the true concealed strength of patience..
Hence the consequences of nonexistence.
The true strength of "Retreat as Advance"以退為進.
After emotions and forces has been cultivated there is ultimately the great harmony...

天下為公 - The Confronting Truth

My father used to told me that IT is not the goal.
It's only a tool to reach your goal.
This phrase conceals an 一通百明 "One Understanding, Hundred Clarifications" wisdom..

Communities tend to develop something called "culture"
Consist of customs / norms / values / language / rituals .....
Mostly the focus will be on "culture"..
It seems that culture is a never changing mountain
It seems to be an unwritten hidden lawBut like all things, there is a Yin but also a Yang.
People tend to have goals or mission, this is the Yang part of the story.
The other Yin part is able to "sustain" our goals.
.. able to "create" your mission
.. able to "oppose" your intentions
.. able to "weaken" your actions..
In many case the Yin, also called the invisible world, has been concealed for people.
People assume that things they do not see, tends not to harm them.

But sadly it is a great illusion.
For the Tree of Life:
. Without the sun it will be hard to survive, however the "Tree of Life" will life a few days.
. Without water it is almost unbearable, however the "Tree of Life" will slowly die.
These are only the visible part of the story.
The invisible element "Roots" are the foremost important part of the Tree.
Cutting these Roots will instantly kill the "Tree of Life"But because it has been concealed for the eye, we take for granted that is has less importance.
The great creator of the "Tree of Life" has been concealed for us.
Thus, we may conclude that "hidden things are able to harm us".

Tooling is able to support our goals and missions.
If Goals / Missions are the Yang element Fire,
..then the tools are the Yin element Water.
If Business is the Yang element Fire,
..then IT is the Yin element water.

If there is overly focus on Culture, with all it's customs, language and rituals,
it tend to be over exaggerated.
The purpose and mission of Culture is to enhance and support People..
Not to substitute People !
Language is not the purpose, but people.
Rituals are not the purpose, but people.
Customs are not the purpose, but people.
Sun Yat Sen once says: "天下為公" - All Under Heaven(People) are the Government(Honorable)
Are we using all our effort to protect "Culture" ? Or do we prioritize the People themselves.
As a Chinese saying goes: "Long united will divide, long divided will unite" only the change is forever.
Often it is very confronting, such as the declination of a culture, or globalism;
however, the incorporating truth.
